SUMMARY:Newman Choir Rehearsal
DESCRIPTION:The Newman Choir rehearsals are a time for Cal Poly Humboldt st
 udents and community members to come together in song and prepare for the 
 beautiful liturgies at the Newman Center. Using the Source and Summit hymn
 al\, we explore both traditional chants and contemporary hymns that elevat
 e the Mass and deepen our worship. Rehearsals focus on vocal technique\, b
 lending harmonies\, and understanding the sacred texts we sing. Whether yo
 u're an experienced singer or new to choir\, all are welcome to join us in
  creating a prayerful\, musical atmosphere that draws the community closer
  to God through the power of sacred music.
