Friday, September 27 we left for a camping trip to Tish Tang. It was full of campfires, delicious food, great conversation, song, and beautiful stars. The Tish Tang campground has a playground, spring water, a wood-fired sauna, fern-lined hot showers, a riverside location and friendly staff.
We had fun watching people catch huge fish, catching frogs, and relaxing.
In the middle of the day, we went to St. Kateri and prayed in the chapel. Afterwards, we set to cleaning up the cemetery and the church grounds.
In the evening, we headed back to Newman to bake some more and ice some cookies for the bake sale.
The bake sale was successful. We want to sent a thank you to all the generous people at Christ the King and St. Mary's who supported us!
