The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) at the Newman Center is a structured program designed to introduce adults to the Catholic faith and prepare them for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Throughout the RCIA events, participants engage in comprehensive learning sessions that cover foundational Catholic teachings, prayer practices, and in-depth Bible studies. These gatherings provide an opportunity to ask questions and explore the Catholic faith within a supportive community. Whether you’re new to Catholicism or seeking a deeper faith commitment, RCIA offers a path of spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with God. Participants build a solid understanding of Catholic beliefs and traditions, allowing them to make informed decisions on their faith journey.

At each session, catechumens (those seeking baptism) and candidates (those already baptized) share in fellowship and reflective discussions, deepening their understanding of Christian discipleship.
